Reading a lot. Not accomplishing much. Pissing the time away, really. I’ve been meaning to do a post on definitions. But why bother. All of them are meaningless, and meaninglessness is power. No matter what your faith, be it science, or religion, there is always some pope trying to defining everything.

Even something as basic as speech is nothing more than sand slipping between the fingers. We agree stop means stop, fuck means fuck, we hold these truths to be self evident. But stop can mean go and fuck can mean suck, and all we have to do is agree to make it so.

We’ve been dogged by knowledge, dragged down by insight, we have no other comfort but in the refuge of dusty old quotes and the meanings we can attribute to them.
